Yo quiero un burrito.

I miss Mexican food!  Not only is delicious but it is also so cheap in the southwest and of course Mexico... aww the memories.

I don't know if you can read this menu but it goes a little something like this:
Burrito $3.79, Taco $.49, Shrimp Ceviche $2.99.

Photos I snapped of the menus at Holy Mole, a great authentic Mexican joint, down the street from the LB apartment.  Besides all the wonderful salsa choices they also have free roasted and seasoned peppers, bonus!

If you are in PHX go to Rito's and think of me!  Or Amados, Revas... the Ranch Market...

Me too! Turns out Canada doesn't really have that many awesome mexican food restaurants.

God I'd love some good Mexican food- Maryland does not have any either. We do have a little local place where you can get basic stuff for reasonable $, but it sure isn't any Ritos. Good thing I'm stuffed right now from a big lunch or I'd be mad that you had even mentioned it!!! ;)

just last night i was thinking about our trip to see you and that i won't be able to enjoy any mexican food. 11 days without a burrito?! wtf

we're gonna have to make some apartment-made mexican food.

Jamie, I tried to make Mexican food while I was there. I couldn't find any pinto beans, they did have some flour tortillas... but it wasn't good. (Also, if you land in NZ the custom's folk are crazy about food- check out the website if you are planning on bringing anything.)
Just brace yourself, but know that Mar will bring you to plenty of great places including The Moroccan Soup Bar where you will not only enjoy yourself but find yourself craving garbanzo beans when you return to the good ol' USA. Now that's something!
